About SYMY Immigration & Recruitment

SYMY Immigration & Recruitment is a consultancy that operates out of Edmonton, Canada and offers immigration solutions to those looking to come to Canada – specifically Alberta, Saskatchewan, and other surrounding areas. Wasting no time getting into it, SYMY immediately introduces us to their RCIC member in their ‘About us page.’ The RCIC member, Marty Baram, is a member in good standing with the ICCRC and holds several business licenses all throughout Canada, namely in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. He is one of four regulated RCIC consultants at SYMY immigration. On this page, we are also told that SYMY is “experienced professionals” capable of “taking care of the complex Canada Immigration process” for their clients.

Website & Services

One of the biggest draws of the website is the ‘free assessment’ banner that you see as soon as you land on the home page. SYMY offers several viable visa options including express entry, business visas, family sponsorship, temporary visas, immigration appeals and citizenship among others. While we appreciate that they offer so many options and that each visa program has its own page with a clear description of what to expect from each program. SYMY also has a blog on their website, which is accessible via a link on their footer. Here, you’ll find short useful articles relating to Canadian immigration published by SYMY. However, this blog is extremely outdated and the last post made was in 2017. SYMY’s website is good-looking and relatively easy to navigate however it lacks a terms and conditions document as well as a privacy policy page – two documents that are pertinent in dealing with online consultancy.

Social Media

Links to the social media platforms of SYMY Immigration can be found in the footer of their home page. Their Facebook page has a significant following of just over 17,000 people. They post a few times a month. Their Twitter page presents a polar opposite image, having a following of only 22 people and it's not hard to see why, as their last post was made in 2015.

SYMY Immigration and Recruitment check out as what they claim to be and we can verify that they are regulated to handle your immigration needs. However, they need to work on some aspects of their website, like adding a privacy policy or terms and conditions.
