About Somjen Law Offices

Somjen Law Offices was started in 1971 by John J. Somjen. Mr. Somjen was called to the bar in 1971 and he is recognized by The Law Society of Upper Canada. John Somjen attended the University of Toronto and studied under the Faculty of Law. Prior to that Mr. Somjen studied in the Business School at the University of Toronto. The offices for Somjen Law are situated in Toronto, Ontario and this law office has helped thousands of people with their immigration processes. They have helped people from a long list of countries like; the UK, the USA, China, Mexico, South America, former Soviet Republics, Iran, India, Pakistan and many countries from the African continent.

The website

The website of Somjen is poorly designed and does not give a good first impression at all. They seem to be based in Toronto, Canada. There is no information provided for anyone that would like to use Somjen Law Offices for their immigration process. Mr. John Somjen is recognized by the Law Society of Upper Canada, which is a plus but their online presence is rudimentary. The website has no privacy policy, refund policy or terms and conditions. What we found concerning is the fact that there is so little information about the immigration processes or further information. For anyone immigrating to Canada from another country, this information is so important.

Social media

Just as the website is completely outdated and lacking anything useful, their social media presence seems to follow the same path. We understand that Mr. Somjen has been around for a number of years. We feel that to be seen as an immigration lawyer that is up to date with the latest changes in immigration, there should be some form of social media presence.

Conclusion

Somjen Law Offices need to update their online and Social Media presence if they want to show themselves to be a modern company that is up to date and able to help immigrants with information and guidance. Even though Mr. Somjen is recognized by the Law Society of Upper Canada, the company needs to modernize in order to remain competitive in an online world. Mr. John Somjen checks out as a legitimate lawyer and is recognized by the Law Society of Upper Canada, but there is no privacy policy, no refund policy, and no terms and conditions. In addition, there is no social media presence and the website is very outdated.
