Platinum Immigration is a company that specializes in areas of Canadian Immigration for both permanent and temporary status. Platinum Immigration was founded by Pritpal S. Ranhotra a former Colonel of the Indian Army with vast experience in career counseling and immigration. A holder of a Bachelor of Administration, Masters of Business Administration and a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mr. Ranhotra immigrated to Canada in 2006 after successfully leading the Indo-Canadian Youth Exchange Program in India. Platinum Immigration has its head office in Toronto Canada and an associate office in New Delhi, India. Mr. Ranhotra is the lead consultant and is a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC), a member of the Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants (CAPIC) and is a member in good standing with the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC).
 

The website for Platinum Immigration is clean and well laid out and easy to navigate through. The website also contains links to important documents such as the Privacy Policy, Terms and Conditions, and FAQs pages that are well written and very informative. The website also mentions that as their chief immigration consultant Mr. Ranhotra is a Registered Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) although they haven’t provided his Consultant Identification number (R417655) on their website we managed to obtain it through the ICCRC registry. The website for Platinum Immigration is basic yet simple enough to understand. In addition to important information links, the website also includes a blog section that contains immigration news, but we noticed that the information is not up to date and the last article was posted on 7 December 2016. A great deal of change has occurred in terms of Canadian immigration procedures since December 2016 but the management of Platinum Immigration has yet to update that information on their website. On the other hand, their About Us page is too brief, lacking in-depth and important information. An About Us page is there to offer clarity and insight into an organization, which is not the case with the website of Platinum Immigration. Links to the social media platforms of Platinum Immigration can be found in the footer of their website. The Facebook page has a small following of around 600 people. However, the page is very outdated, the last post made was in November 2018. The Twitter account is quite disappointing, having a following of only 8 followers and is also outdated, the last tweet made was in October 2017.
 

Although it appears that the management of Platinum Immigration does not care about their presence on social media or finds a need to update news on their blog section we cannot fault them on the legitimacy and that Mr. Ranhotra is a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC). Despite having the capacity and capability to handle Canadian immigration issues we would like to see Platinum Immigration improve its social media presence, update its news and blog pages.
