About MyCana Immigration Recruitment

MyCana Immigration Recruitment is based in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. It is operated by Marlou Poquiz, a registered member of the Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants and the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC). We checked his membership number, R512951, and found him to be a legitimate member of the ICCRC. On their website, there is a screenshot of a certificate of excellence from a company called ThreeBest Rated. We did some research on this company and found that they have no specific authority on Canadian immigration. Instead, the award is based on user submissions to the company. For this reason, you should not base your assessment of their services on the “awards” they have won. Other than Mr. Poquiz there is no reference to anyone else who works at the company. So make sure you are dealing with Mr. Poquiz when discussing your immigration plans, seeing as he is the only person there who is legally allowed to be an immigration consultant.

Website and Services

MyCana Immigration Recruitment offers a whole range of immigration services to Canada. However, it is difficult to determine how much they know about the topics listed on their “services” page. If you click on any of the links like “Federal Skilled Worker” or “Student Visa”, you are guided to a short paragraph with basic information on migrating to Canada. Their website has very little content. Even the small news section on their homepage is a link to another unaffiliated website called Canada Immigration Newsletter. MyCana Immigration Recruitment seems to say look elsewhere if you are looking for detailed information. The website does not make any reference to privacy policies, refund policies or terms of conditions. Be careful of giving away money and personal information to them if they do not provide these to you.

Social Media

There are no links to any social media accounts of MyCana on their website. This is concerning, as social media has become an integral part of an immigration company’s credibility online. The company should definitely look into this.

Conclusion

We cannot confidently recommend MyCana as a reputable immigration company, as they have not provided enough information online for us to do so. If you have personally dealt with this company, please do not hesitate to let us know in the comments.
