About ISAS Consultants

ISAS Consultants was established in 2003 by Mr. Maraj Ahmed who is also the Managing Director. The head office is based Pakistan with a second branch in Pakistan and one in the UK. The website claims that the company has processed over 20,000 visa inquiries, 10,000 student career, and student advice cases, over 1,000 immigration application processed as well as more than 500 students placed in one of their partner institutions. We look a bit closer to determine the validity of the company, specifically with regards to Candian immigration services.

Website & Services

The website has a clean design and is generally user-friendly and easy to navigate. We are however concerned with the fact that the website is not secure, leaving anyone using it open to third party hackers. ISAS Consultants deals with different immigration and visa application for countries like New Zealand, Australia, Canada, the US, and the UK. When a company deals with immigration to many different countries, you need an agent that is registered with each country’s immigration department and has the knowledge of the immigration policies. The only agent that is indicated is Mr. Muhammad Nasir Ali whose RCIC number is R515839. He is in good standing with the ICCRC however is registered to another company, Canada 4U Immigration Services. This could be a clerical error however we cannot confirm the reason for this. When, however, we entered the company name into the ICCRC website we came up with no results which are concerning. Another problem that we found is that although the website has a blog there are only 4 posts all relating to New Zealand.

Social Media

ISAS Consultants has links for their social media pages that all click through to the specific pages. Their Facebook page has a substantial 10,019 likes and they have been around since 2003. The latest posts from ISAS Consultants were cover photo updates but then on the 8th of August, they posted an article. In this article, they offered free Student Visa processing until the 14th of August. The reviews page is active, which is a good sign and is filled with predominantly positive reviews. Their Twitter account has a less than desirable 94 followers with only 25 tweets, leading us to believe that the account is rather neglected as the last post dates back to June and before that March 2019. On the LinkedIn page is a personal account belonging to Maraj Ahmed which offers little information or credibility to the company.

Conclusion

We are unsure whether ISAS Consultants can be trusted as immigration consultants as there are too many unanswered questions. We are unsure if the RCIC stated on the website is registered with them as the details on the ICCRC website link the RCIC to another company. We are also not happy that the website is not secure. Although Facebook has a decent following the other platforms need improvement. The website blog is not updated and there are no terms and conditions, privacy or refund policy available on the website. We would advise you to proceed with caution if you are thinking of immigration and using this company. They do offer you some testimonials to read over and there are quite a few.
