About Imcan Visa

Imcan Visa has a free online evaluation which is very easy to use. The website is straightforward, user-friendly and easy to navigate. However, there is nothing on there that catches your attention. Even though the website is user-friendly, it still has quite a few errors. According to the website, their consultant is a member of the Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants (CAPIC-ACCPI), Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC) and Australian International Education Conference (AIEC). We checked the RCIC’s registration number and name on the ICCRC website and found that they are in good standing with the Canadian government. Their name is Alphy Mathen and his registration number is R415327. We also like that they have included some information about the consultant, especially that they themselves have gone through the immigration process.

Website & Services

The website is however not secure and there is no “Terms and Conditions” page and nor a “Privacy Page”. The website does not specify if there is a refund policy or how much it costs for their services. They do however have a contact us section at the bottom of the page which is not the best location as users visiting the website on their mobile devices would have to keep scrolling to find it. The website offers good immigration advice on the different services it has. With a salary widget, currency calculator and an International English Language Test Service (IELTS), Imcan Visa offers its clients a chance to practice their English and French. Imcan Visa also provides clients who want to work in Canada with resources like latest job advertisements and links to recruitment agencies. The company offers assistance with:

  • Work Visas;
  • Express Entry;
  • Business Visas;
  • Spousal Visas;
  • Visiting Visas;
  • Student Visa; and
  • Super Visa

Social Media

Imcan Visa has a Facebook page that has a good following, with over 15,000 likes. The page however is not updated regularly with the last post dated to April 9. Unfortunately, the reviews page is not active and we could therefore not provide and feedback with regards to client satisfaction. We followed the Twitter link on their website however discovered that the account no longer exists.

  • Work Visas;
  • Spousal Visas;
  • Visiting Visas;
  • Student Visa; and
  • Super Visa

Social Media

Imcan Visa has a Facebook page that has 300 likes and a Twitter page that has 114 followers. They are clearly new accounts and it looks like they are slowly growing; however, there is not much interaction between the company and its followers. Both social media pages have not been updated since April and March.

Conclusion

The company has a qualified RCIC consultant which we verified on the ICCRC website. Finding reviews about this company is very difficult and the only review that we could find about Imcan Visa was written in 2013. It is from a client that felt like Alphy Mathen was a fraud and Mathen responded with a lengthy email back on the CanadaVisa forum. Despite all their faults and mistakes, Imcan Visa looks like a legitimate immigration agent. There is definitely room for improvement regarding their social media presence, even though they have a solid Facebook following. We would advise you to be careful when dealing with this company due to the negative public opinion of them. If you had had any dealings with Imcan Visa, please feel free to leave your review in the reviews section below.
