About Choice Immigration Services

Choice Immigration Services is a Canadian immigration consultancy company. Offering guidance and insight on the complexity that is Canadian law and Canadian immigration. They claim to have consultants who are “dedicated to working quickly to expedite your visa, Permanent Resident Card, or citizenship.” Ajay Sehgal, and Kaur Manjinderpal Shergill are the company’s regulated ICCRC members, though their website does not provide any further information regarding the ICCRC members.

Website & Services

Choice Immigration Services’ website is pretty basic and easy to navigate as everything is well set out. In terms of content, they could have given much more than what is currently presented to us. More insight and background information on the above mention ICCRC members are always greatly welcomed. The site doesn’t give much to explore, lacking in both a privacy policy and terms and conditions page. These documents give us a brief look into what a company is all about and how they do business, without these documents clients would be left dazed and confused. They offer work, study and visitor visas and all-round Canadian immigration-related services in addition to solutions to immigration matters as they are understanding in the “complicated laws and a backup of applications.” They greatly recommend using either a regulated immigration consultant or an immigration lawyer, as by doing this your process will be made easier and could save you from scammers and fraudsters. They do however, give us this disclaimer; “Please consult a Certified Immigration Consultant for advice about your individual situation. This site and its information is not legal advice, nor is it intended to be. Feel free to get in touch by electronic mail, letters or phone calls. Contacting us does not create a Certified Immigration Consultant-client relationship. Until a Certified Immigration Consultant-client relationship is established, please withhold from sending any confidential information to us.”

Social Media & Online Review

We could not find any social media account for this company. At this point, we are very suspicious as to why their identity is so hidden and mysterious. Their online presence is virtually non-existent, except for a three-year-old Google review. This review expresses an extreme dislike towards the company, explaining how payment was made for a 5-minute session for unbeneficial information. This person also claims “the person who is in charge of consultation doesn’t have knowledge of immigration,” which is worrying.

Conclusion

Though there are three members featured on the official ICCRC website, this company raises so many questions in terms of legitimacy and activity. This is also one of the few immigration agencies in Edmonton, so we would recommend all clients proceed with caution when considering this company.
