On a lighter note, Canada is aesthetically one of the most beautiful countries in the world. Often referred to as the land of milk and honey, Canada offers everything from majestic mountains and ice sheets to segregated lakes and forests. Canada’s charm is not just owed to its natural beauty, Canada has cosmopolitan urban communities that are safe, friendly and multicultural. Today, Canada is officially bilingual with nearly a quarter of citizens speaking French. Additionally, Canada is among one of the wealthiest countries and has the second-largest oil reserves in the world.

Since we’re comparing the two, Canada spends more per capita on education than any other country in the world. Getting a good education means as much to the Canadian government as it does to you. According to a recent report, Canada has become the most preferred country of study over the UK. In addition, the government ensures that young Canadians have access and are exposed to the best schooling institutions. Canada has some of the best educational institutions in the world and has gained quite an admirable schooling reputation, so much so that it’s considered the world’s most educated country as more than half of its residents have college degrees.
Job Opportunities
Because of Canada’s large population, generally, such a large population usually generates more job opportunities. Canada is a land rich in opportunities with an abundance of jobs and has a booming economy, one of the strongest in the world. Canada is constantly looking for skilled professionals and foreign workers to help grow their already strong national workforce. The majority of Canada’s workforce is service orientated, thus having an abundance of service-related jobs.
The weather isn’t all bad
Canada and the UK are often put on the radar about their extreme winters but Canada’s summer season outshines the UK in this round. Ontario, British Columbia, and Toronto are the hotspots with summer highs hitting over 27 degrees, which isn’t all that bad considering that anything over 20 degrees is rare in the UK.

With thousands of foreigners arriving in the country each year, Canada has made their welcoming as warm as possible. Greeting strangers in the street is a norm, smiles are common and all-round good manners are alive and well in Canada. Though the UK has featured on a recent list of “rude countries” as perceived by travelers, Canada recommends you leave that at the border.
